Eastern & Oriental Express 

The Eastern & Oriental Express is a magnificent private train, which has been operated by Orient-Express on the route from Bangkok to Singapore since 1993.

On-board chefs use the finest and freshest ingredients to prepare the excellent Eastern and European cuisine, which is served in the two elegant Restaurant Cars. A continental-style breakfast featuring freshly-baked croissants and fruit is delivered to your compartment each morning and tea and coffee are available in the Observation Car throughout the day. The train has a bar car with resident pianist and a boutique selling Eastern & Oriental Express gifts and mementoes. There is also an Observation Car, which has an outdoor observation area and offers uninterrupted views of the passing scenery.

The Eastern & Oriental Express also offers travellers beautifully appointed Pullman Compartments (included) which have upper and lower berths that convert to a banquette-style sofa during the day. Every compartment also has an en suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin and WC.

State Compartments are available at a supplement. Featuring the same en suite facilities as the Pullman Compartments, the State Compartments are slightly larger and the daytime seating converts into two single beds at night, both lower berth.
