    Day 2 - Discovering Manchester

We begin our stay in Manchester with a guided walking tour of this fascinating city. Our tour introduces sights such as the imposing Cathedral, the magnificent Victorian Town Hall and the grand Royal Exchange - all of which are beautiful listed buildings. Your afternoon is free for you to continue exploring this exciting metropolis at your own pace. Manchester is home to a number of fascinating museums and art galleries, and the Museum of Science & Industry is definitely a highlight. Otherwise, the Imperial War Museum is a popular option, and the Lowry - an impressive art gallery complex - should not be missed. (B,D)

Day 4 - East Lancashire Railway and Tatton Park
