Our hotels have been chosen based on their location, the facilities and value for money. Where possible we select hotels with individual style and character, preferably run by local families as we find this gives our hotels a friendlier, more personal feel. We have worked with many of our hotels for over a decade.

The Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz is situated on Bryggen, Bergen's historic waterfront, close to the famous fish market and the Fløibanen funicular railway. The hotel has a restaurant and a lobby bar. Bremen's 4-star Ramada Überseehotel is situated in the historic market place, close to the Old Town and the famous Böttcherstrasse. The hotels restaurant offers international and traditional German cuisine whilst the bar offers self brewed beers. Rooms include a television and hairdryer.

The elegant 4-star Imperial Hotel in Copenhagen enjoys a central location, close to the station and the Town Hall Square. The hotel boasts two restaurants, the Imperial Grill Room and the Brasserie, along with a lounge and bar. Room facilities include air conditioning, television, minibar, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

The Flåmsbrygga Hotel in Flåm is situated on the quayside, close to the railway station and overlooking the Aurlandsfjord. This modern hotel opened in June 1998 and has a restaurant and a micro brewery, which brews a selection of beers available in the hotel's brewpub. The rooms are decorated with Norwegian pine and feature a telephone, television and tea and coffee making facilities. Many rooms have balconies with views over the Aurlandsfjord.

Located on the edge of the beautiful Geirangerfjord, the Union Hotel features a lounge, two restaurants, three bars and a terrace serving light snacks and drinks, where guests may enjoy the magnificent views over the fjord. The hotel also has an indoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, an outdoor pool (seasonal) a spa offering various therapies and treatments (pay locally) and a fascinating vintage car museum. Rooms are comfortably furnished and feature a telephone and television. The Union Hotel was awarded Great Rail Journeys' Gold Award for its outstanding customer service in 2009.

The Maritim Hotel Reichshof is situated in the centre of Hamburg, opposite the city's main railway station. The hotel has a restaurant, bistro-café, lounge, bar and a leisure club with a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The rooms are equipped with a telephone, television and a minibar.

The Hotel Jokkmokk is situated on the shores of Lake Talvatis, close to the centre of Jokkmokk. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, gym and saunas - one in the main hotel building and one next to the lake. The rooms are comfortably furnished and feature a telephone, television and a hairdryer. Many of the rooms enjoy wonderful views over the lake.

The Quality Hotel Grand Royal is situated in the centre of Narvik close to the railway station and the quayside. The hotel's facilities include two restaurants, a coffee shop and cocktail lounge. Rooms are equipped with a telephone, television and hairdryer.

The modern Thon Hotel Opera is perfectly located next to Oslo Central Station and just a short walk from Karl Johans Gate, the city's main pedestrian thoroughfare. The welcoming in Quedlinburg features two wings, one lovingly restored from the original half-timbered architecture, the other in a more contemporary style. The Radisson SAS Royal Viking Hotel (4-star) is situated in the heart of Stockholm, close to Central Station. The hotel features a restaurant, lobby bar and a Sky Bar located on the top floor with excellent panoramic views over the city. This traditional hotel enjoys an excellent location in the heart of Trondheim and offers us a comfortable stay during our time in the city. The hotel has four restaurants in addition to a lobby lounge and a piano bar. Its brand new spa - due to be completed in 2009 - will offer a swimming pool, flotation pool, sauna, herbal bath and a 'cocoon' room, as well as a selection of fitness equipment. The Britannia Hotel's rooms are elegantly furnished and facilities include a mini bar, hairdryer and television.

The Best Western Hotel Gamla Teatern is conveniently situated in the centre of Östersund. The hotel has an a la carte restaurant serving Swedish cuisine, a bar and a steam room. The rooms feature a telephone, television, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.
