Our hotels have been chosen based on their location, the facilities and value for money. Where possible we select hotels with individual style and character, preferably run by local families as we find this gives our hotels a friendlier, more personal feel. We have worked with many of our hotels for over a decade.
In Halifax we stay at the recently renovated Westin Nova Scotian, one of the original railroad hotels owned by the Canadian National Railways. Situated in the heart of the downtown area, close to the shops and restaurants, the hotel offers a restaurant, cocktail lounge serving light snacks and a coffee shop. Leisure facilities include an indoor pool, jacuzzi and gym as well as a beauty salon and spa facilities (both payable locally). The rooms offer views of either the harbour or Cornwallis Park and are equipped with air conditioning, telephone, television, radio, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, safe and a hairdryer.
In Jasper we stay at the welcoming Amethyst Lodge, located close to the town centre, within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the railway station. The hotel benefits from a restaurant, cosy lounge and two outdoor jacuzzis. Room facilities include air conditioning, television, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Many rooms feature balconies or patios with views over Jasper and the surrounding mountains.
An Old Quebec landmark, this hotel has assumed a number of guises since it was first built in 1830. In addition to its blend of historic charm and modern amenities, the Hotel Manoir Victoria features an indoor pool, sauna and spa. The hotel has two restaurants to choose from. Rooms feature air conditioning, a television, minibar, telephone, safe, hairdryer and coffee maker.
Our base in Toronto is the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. Built in the late 1920s, the hotel has retained much of its original charm, elegance and unique features such as beautiful hand painted ceilings and crystal chandeliers. The hotel's excellent facilities include a number of bars, lounges, restaurants and a health club with an indoor pool, saunas, steam room and fitness equipment.
