With spring finally here, temperatures are increasing and ushering in some long awaited sunshine. With stunning flora in full bloom across the globe, why not celebrate spring with a tour that highlights the stunning flowers of the season? Take a trip to Holland to see the iconic tulip display at the famed Keukenhof Gardens, or enjoy the striking displays a little closer to home with a visit to the Harrogate Flower Show. And for those who'd prefer to venture slightly further afield, April is the perfect time to see the revered cherry blossoms trees of Japan in all their brilliance.

Steam Trains & Tulips of Holland
From our base in beautiful Delft, we visit the popular Keukenhof Gardens. One of the most beautiful spring gardens in the world, Keukenhof boasts more than seven million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. The annual display attracts visitors from across the world each spring, all eager to see the delightful sight of the country's iconic tulip fields. On our tour we spend a full day exploring the striking gardens, as well as visiting to the superb Royal Delft Porcelain factory, enjoying an excursion to the vibrant city of Amsterdam and taking a charming journey across the countryside on a vintage steam train.

The Harrogate Flower Show
It's certainly not always necessary to cross oceans to see stunning natural beauty, which is made evident by the spectacular Harrogate Flower Show, hosted annually each April. We spend a day at the fabulous Harrogate Flower Show on this horticulture-themed tour, taking in the stunning gardens and outstanding floral art. We also travel across the North York Moors to Whitby by heritage steam railway and visit RHS Garden Harlow Carr.

Grand Tour of Japan
Absorb ancient history and timeless tradition as we travel through the 'Land of the Rising Sun' by futuristic bullet train. Travel to Japan in April for a change to enjoy 'hanami', or 'cherry blossom viewing', as the nation's emblematic cherry blossoms bloom and tint the landscapes a dreamy shade of pink.
