“A truly great experience. Aside from the beautiful scenery, the trip was extremely well run by Tracey Richards. The buses were spotless and comfortable, the trains all enjoyable. I thought each of the hotels and meals were superb.......well done by Great Rail. When weather forced some changes in mode os transportation, Tracey made it all appear seamless and an improvement. “Amazing quality & quantity of sights fitted in, very good guide manager ‘Charles’, excellent 4* hotels. Only real down was a port wine trip to ‘Taylor’s’ the guide here was useless- a video & TV would have better & NO wine tasting, hence no sales!

“The hotels and travelling logistics was excellent and well planned. Communication prior to the holiday was good. The cities we visited and day excursions were well organised. Our tour guide was excellent always at hand to answer questions of iron out little snags. If any negative the organised evening meals were of poor quality, but overall it was a five star holiday.

“We very much enjoyed this mini adventure, The hotel was typically Austrian - good food and comfortable. We liked the tour manager and delighted in the wonderful hotels in Mannheim and Cologne on the journeys. We think that it was a very busy holiday; we realised this I’m advance but good to know.

“We had our best holiday with you and have done this holiday twice. The hotel Albadraba is wonderfully situated, the food and staff exceptional. We can’t understand why you have dropped this hotel for next year. It was bad timing to do this while we were staying there. Very short-sighted of you.
