Hotel Mediterraneo, Rome
The 4-star Hotel Mediterraneo in Rome was designed in 1938 by Mario Loreti and is a marvellous example of Art Deco architecture. Situated on the Esquilino, one of the city's seven hills, the hotel enjoys a central location close to the railway station and within walking distance of sights such as the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. It has a restaurant, breakfast room and bar. The rooms feature their original 1940s furnishings and are equipped with air conditioning, a telephone, television, minibar, safe and a hairdryer.
