Warwick New York Hotel, New York
The historic Warwick New York hotel is situated in midtown Manhattan, opposite the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and close to Broadway, Central Park and Fifth Avenue. Originally commissioned in 1926 by American newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst as a place for him and his mistress, actress Marion Hearst, to entertain friends from Hollywood and the theatre, the hotel has had many famous guests - including the Beatles and Elvis Presley. The hotel has a restaurant, a lounge bar serving a selection of meals and drinks and a fully equipped fitness centre. The spacious, air conditioned rooms feature a telephone, television, safe, minibar and a hairdryer.
