Airline disruption update
15:00 hrs Friday 23 April 2010
We are delighted to report that moving forward all of
our outbound and inbound flights are now back on
schedule. GRJ will, of course, continue to monitor the
situation in conjunction with the relevant airlines and should the
situation change we will update any customers affected
without delay.
We would take this opportunity to thank all our customers for
the admirable patience they have shown in these extraordinary
circumstances.
09:00 hrs Wednesday 21 April 2010
The restrictions placed upon flights from and to the UK have
been amended, however as is being reported in the media, the return
to normality will take some time.
Great Rail Journeys is continuing to monitor the situation
closely on behalf of any of our customers that may be
affected, and is in constant and detailed communication
with the relevant airlines.
Our advice remains that customers should proceed to
the airport, as normal, unless directed otherwise by Great
Rail Journeys.
10:00 hrs Tuesday 20 April 2010
Following the problems caused by the
continued eruptions of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in
Iceland, Great Rail Journeys have been in constant
communication with the relevant airlines on behalf of our customers
who may be affected by this event.
As the situation continues to evolve on an hourly basis our advice, at this time, to all of our customers is that they should proceed, as normal, to the airport unless directed otherwise by Great Rail Journeys.
Please be assured we will continue to monitor the situation and update our customers to any further developments without delay.
