Held in Europe once every ten years, the magnificent International Garden Show is one of the largest and most celebrated horticultural exhibitions in the world.
In 2013 the show was held in Hamburg, which is one of Germany's greenest cities and therefore a fitting choice of host. The primary theme, uniting all of the elements, was "around the world in 80 gardens" - and the varied displays included exhibits of creative landscape architecture and lively garden ideas, as well as unique garden designs.
More about the Hamburg International Garden Show
Across the enormous exhibition space there are many differently themed zones, which include "world of ports", "world of religions" and "water worlds", each featuring an array of innovative floristry designs.
Exact features may alter or differ as the seasons change, but with such a range of impressive designs, the show promises to be spectacular at all times - and arguably the International Garden Show's most successful outing yet.
